I groaned as I watched her leave. This was what I wanted, for she to ignore me like nothing happened between us, but here I was, worried about her. The hatred and anger I saw in her eyes was something I could not explain.
Grunting angrily, I went inside the coffee shop and collapsed back on the chair, totally ignoring Sophie. “She is your mate?” Sophie directed that question to me while giving me a quizzical look. “I'd prefer not to talk about it.''
