Chapter 216

A gnawing sensation of worry consumed Officer Martin's mind as he strode through the precinct hallways. It troubled the General greatly that he would not tell Gia when or where they were meeting. He imagined a thousand scenarios, each more sinister than the last.

Martin could not help but think of how silent the meeting's specifics had been. Why is everything being kept so secret? Or was there something more subtle at work, or was the General genuinely attempting to keep everything under control?
