Chapter 116. Not Boarding
Ayana’s POV
I stamp my feet on the cold floor after kissing Lyana. She is still fast asleep, and I hope she does not wake up just now. I don’t want her to see the awkward aura between Robby and me. I know he is still mad.
I walk downstairs, and I find him straightening his suit ready for work; his face is still gloomy. Even more than it was last night.
“Do you have a minute?” Ayana’s voice was soft, tinged with a hint of desperation as she searched his eyes for a glimmer of understanding.
Robby turned to face her fully, his expression guarded. He was already dressed for work. He didn’t even look like he was contemplating having breakfast with her. There was too much of an uncalled for attitude that Ayana hated. “Make it quick because I am almost late for work. I have a meeting in thirty.” His tone was cold, a sharp contrast to the warmth she once knew so well.
