“If I remember correctly, I have a deal with her parents. I have explained everything that is happening between me and Ayana to them. Unless there is a conspiracy, you both have no right being here and demanding questions,” Adam stated.
“I still want to know why she is here. I don’t see why you can explain it to her parents and not to us. We deserve the right to know what is going on more than them,” his father stated.
Adam began, his voice tinged with frustration. He could not tell them that they were in love because, one, they would never believe him, and two, they would be made to sign that merger agreement between the two families, as he was certain that Ayana would not like that.
