The woman Mark called “Grandma” walked in with a young girl at her side, holding her hand. She looked like she was in her late seventies, yet despite her age, her skin was remarkably smooth, glowing with the kind of radiance only the very wealthy seemed to possess. It was hard not to be in awe of her presence, exuding elegance and dignity with every step she took across the polished marble floor.
