Chapter 10

The following morning, Bianca received a letter from a certain insurance company. She immediately opened it and found a lot of forms to be signed. She’s not ignorant of what those forms are. So, Gabriel requested that his insurance provider amend his beneficiary.

She wanted to call her husband and inquire about the reason why, but stopped herself in the middle of dialing his number. It’s his decision, so she would honor it. Even if her feelings got hurt. While she signed the papers, her phone rang, and it was Gabriel who called.

“Hello,” she stammered as she answered the phone. Gabriel was also silent on the other line. “Hon?” Bianca wondered why he wasn’t talking. Did he call to make sure that she’d sign the papers?

“I’m on my way to Clayland; is Justin there?”
