Chapter 107. Hunted

Raymond’s POV

A guard came to inform me right after Karla left.

“Alpha, there is an old lady requesting to see you right now.”

I raised my brow, “Is her name Amara?” I asked suspiciously, and the guard replied positively.

“Yes, Alpha. She said to tell you that it is urgent.” The guard added, and I quickly left my chamber.

The last time, the woman named Amara had come to visit, but she had left at one point, and I was unable to see her nor listen to what she had to say.

At this time, I knew I could not disregard anyone in case they had news about where Madison had been taken to.

The guard led the way to the guest chamber, “She waits for you inside.”

With a nod, I swung the door open and trotted in to see an old woman pacing back and forth with the aid of a walking stick.

Distress marred her face, making her old and withered face even more so. When she caught sight of me, her eyes lit up, and she quickly bowed in respect.
