Liya’s eyes widened as Abigail spoke, her shock evident. “I can’t believe you went through all that,” she said softly, her voice filled with empathy. “But why can’t you carry us along, Abby?”
Whizz nodded in agreement, his expression a mixture of anger and sympathy. “And Samuel… he must have been so worried about the pain, you should have notified us, this is serious oooo, how do you manage against yourself?”
Abigail nodded, her gaze drifting to the door through which Samuel had disappeared. “He blamed himself for everything,” she admitted, her voice tinged with sadness. “But we’re safe now, thanks to God.”
