Jeff followed Simon, his heart pounding with a mix of anxiety and anticipation. “Right behind you,” he replied, his voice resolute.
They stepped outside, where Simon’s car was parked nearby. Simon unlocked the doors and turned to Jeff. “Come on, let’s go,” he urged, his voice urgent.
Jeff nodded, his hand gripping the car door handle. As he slid into the passenger seat, a surge of determination coursed through him. He fastened his seatbelt and looked at Simon. “Let’s trace their location and make them safe.”
Simon started the engine, his gaze focused on the road ahead. “That’s the plan. We won’t stop until we find them, they must not be victim again.”
The engine roared to life as Simon accelerated, the tires screeching as they left the mansion behind. The wind rushed through the open windows, carrying with it a sense of urgency and purpose.
As they drove, Jeff’s fingers tapped impatiently on his thigh. “We can’t let them suffer any longer.”
