Chapter 9

At the end of her first day, Abigail felt a sense of accomplishment. She had successfully navigated through the new environment and felt welcomed by her colleagues. As she prepared to leave the office, her team members bid her farewell with encouraging words.

“Great job today, Abigail! We’re glad to have you on board,” one of her colleagues said with a smile. “We look forward to working together.”

Abigail smiled back, grateful for the warm reception she had received. “Thank you all for making me feel so welcome. I’m excited to be part of this team and contribute to our collective success.”

With that, Abigail left the office, her heart filled with optimism and a sense of belonging. She knew that she had embarked on a new journey, surrounded by supportive colleagues who would help her grow and thrive in her new role.

As Abigail entered her house, she was greeted by Anita, who had been taking care of the twins throughout the day.

“Hey, Anita! How was your
