Ella POV

Slowly I maneuver around the crowd in the court room, carefully as not to bump anyone with my crutches. It seems that everyone from the pack is here. It is honestly a little embarrassing to have Vanessa and I’s personal feud on display for the whole pack to see. Taking my seat, I fold my hands neatly in my lap and focus on not fidgeting or looking nervous. Erebus has already warned me that I will be called to speak against Vanessa in front of the whole pack. That attention is enough to make me want to vomit.

“You okay?”

“I’ve been better,”

I answer honestly, not caring who hears me. “How about you?”
