Chapter 107. Get a Room

She felt trapped in that room with Alex having that damn file in her hand. Clara silently tried to open her bag to hide it but his voice made her paralyzed for a moment.

"If you want my help in anything, you could have just asked me. I can help you with anything. You know, right?" His words confused her more. Did he want to help her in stealing this file? That can't be happening?

Or maybe just testing her.

"I was just" Clara stuttered searching for words to give explanations.

"Sh," He whispered near her ears as he gently pulled her waist to his side from her back when she tried to hide the file in her bag.

"I thought that you are brave and courageous and you don't need help for anything. But this is something which you can't do alone, right?" Alex whispered again and Clara was not sure what he was talking about. She turned to his side to see if he was serious or not.
