Chapter 41. Baking a Cake or Mess

The bright and sad day ends with no trace. Clara came out and saw the sleeping figure of Alex. All his complaints made her so sad. He doesn't deserve such sadness in his life. 

Alex rolled in the bed and opened his eyes with so much difficulty. 

"Are you okay?" Clara asked as she gave him some medicine and coffee.

"Thanks" Alex replied and soon his face turned red in madness. He remembered how Sandy spoiled their little happy moment. 

"Relax. We can't change what happened. But we can at least repair things" Clara said, sitting beside him.

"We have to focus on Roselyn now." Clara has a point. The mention of his sister made his face soften a bit and his eyes showed numerous emotions all at once. Clara was amazed with how she can read his heart so easily with his eyes itself. Is it because he opened about himself too much the previous day?
