Chapter 42. Dispute Time

Walking back home is really tiring for Clara. She refuses to come back as she hears about Edward's courtroom and they all are waiting for the culprit to make a statement. Clara loves their teasing but doesn't want to get attracted to them more. She knew for a fact that Elena is still there plotting and planning to make Elsa marry Alex at any cost. Clara has no interest in even clinging to Alex. She will be more than grateful for Elena if she helps her to get away from Alex and his family. 

She entered the home and found it too silent. Maybe everyone is sleeping already. She thanked the stars and walked slowly to the kitchen to drink water.

"Surprise!" Everyone exclaimed as she jumped in fear. The lights went on all of a sudden and she clutched something near due to fear.
