Bianca's POV

I excused the both of them cause it looked like they were about to make out. I giggled like a toddler when the taught of Kumi making out with someone crossed my mind. I was happy for my best friend, she finally had someone that loves her and cares deeply for her.

I brought out my phone and dialed Charles' number. If I remember clearly, he said he was going back to work. My phone was still ringing and he hadn't picked up yet, maybe he was busy.

"Hey little one, you good?" he said softly when he picked and I blushed from how smooth and reassuring his voice sounded.

"Yeah, I am. What about you?"

"I wish you were here with me. I am currently staring at some files and I have no idea what is happening or what to do with it. My head is spinning."

I laughed. This was the first time I have heard him complain about work. Maybe I could help him with it.
