Chapter 44
Miguel's weight almost knocked me down when he tried to stand up, even so, I made an effort to drag him and guide him to the entrance of my house with a house. The neighboring windows only reflected the flashes by the lightning in the skies, since it was too late at night for someone to take the trouble to stay awake to try to know the origin of that brutal storm.
No one but me could recognize that a rain like that would only mean one thing; the sky was raging for some attitude on earth. The man at the reach of my arms, stumbling and trying to take refuge from the storm into my house, was the reason for that mess. The most valuable archangel in heaven, asking for shelter for the queen of demons who remained cladestinously on earth. Of course, the Creator would be furious about that.
Miguel almost fell straight to the floor when we rushed to the front door, and his feet fully covered by his own blood caused him to slip on the clean and carpet-free floor in my living room.
