It took two weeks for her to come out of the ICU room. Multiple times it was touch and go, but she managed to survive. Tracker rarely left her bedside. He didn't know what it was about her, but he just felt so protective. He told himself it was because he'd never seen a person beaten and injured so badly.

He felt she needed someone to care about what was happening to her, knowing when she woke up, she'd be scared and alone. Until they could figure out who she was and if she had family to take care of her. Or he hated to think, a boyfriend or husband.

The sheriff and the club checked for missing persons. They couldn't find any that matched her description. It didn't look good, and they feared it was because maybe she had no family, or what she had didn't want her found.
