LaShelle & Chopper. Part 9
It was the next day before she regained consciousness. Before she opened her eyes, Chopper had seen small movements that the doctor said was a good sign of her beginning to wake up.
She finally after several attempts was able to open her eyes. Chopper hadn't left her side. She tightened her hand that he was currently holding.
"My chest and shoulder hurt something fierce." She groaned.
Chopper buzzed the nurse. She came in a few minutes later and gave her some pain meds after taking her vitals. She drifted back off to sleep as her pain lessened.
A little while later, there was a commotion in the hallway. Chopper had given strict orders for no one to be allowed in. He walked out into the hallway and saw an older man running his mouth about not being let in.
"I don't know who you are, but no one is going in her room!" Chopper retorted.
"Who the hell are you to say I can't go in to see my own damn daughter?" The man demanded.
