Traci & Prez. Part 4

The silence at the table was awkward after Jarrett sat down. Everyone was praying for things to get back to normal. Everything felt out of sync with Traci and Jarrett not together. They were pretty much the glue that held the family together.

"I was wondering if you'd like to go on a date with me?" Jarrett asked.

"Can I ask why?" Traci requested.

"Doc said maybe it would help my memories come back. And if not, I'd at least like to get to know my wife." Jarrett explained.

"Ok. I can do that." She agreed.

"I don't want to give you false hope and hurt you more than I can tell I have." Jarrett replied.

"Jarrett, you haven't hurt me, the situation has. More than you can understand right now. But I am open to try and see how this goes. I'm willing to try to help you remember." Traci explained.
