After they left church and got in Scribe's truck, Allison looked at him in disbelief. She couldn't believe him and Traci had done such a thing, and in church. And she couldn't believe the Pastor went along with it. In fact, she'd bet money he was in on it.

"I can't believe ya'll did that!" Allison remarked.

"Well, you said you'd like to be able to walk through town without the bad rumors following you around and all the glares. So, I thought what better way to set people straight than in church? And man, after that sermon Pastor gave I think several will think twice next time." Scribe laughed.

"Did you really post a copy of the paternity test on the town information board?" Allison asked.

"Yep, laminated it and posted it." Scribe confirmed.

"I wish we knew who his real father is. I'm afraid she's going to ruin that poor little boy if she raises him." Allison sighed.
