Sushmita’s POV

I woke up without Rodney by my side the next morning and saw Daniel patiently sitting on the sofa while facing the terrace of our Hotel Suite.

“Daniel? What are you doing here? Where’s- where’s Rodney?” I asked because he’s just looking at the view.

“I don’t know, he called me to look after you and left early,” he said.

I was finding my slippers when I saw rose petals on the side table and a piece of paper so I grabbed it and opened the folded paper.

Something came up and I really need to go right now. I know this will disappoint you again but I promise that I will make it up to you , so enjoy the rest of the day inside our Suite and join me for dinner later tonight. Daniel knows what to do, I already gave him the details. Happy Birthday and take care of our baby. I love you both.
