Chapter 206. A Little Calmer

After the Doctor came home, Dean slowly opened his eyes and winced in pain as he wriggled, then clutched his stomach which was in great pain. He glanced around which was a white room but a lot of typical posters with women.

Slowly, Dean sat up and used a pillow as a backrest. He remembers the last incident before fainting was being beaten by two thugs who were about to rob me. 'Why don't I just die?' his mind remorsefully recalled his troubles.

Niko entered the room with a box of rice and a bottle of mineral water. He smirked at Dean who had finally come to his senses. "Hey, Bro. You finally woke up. I thought you were going to die."

"Did you help me?" Dean asked, looking at Niko who was so foreign to him.

"Yes. I and my friends found you lying on the street with wounds like you had been beaten," Niko explained as he handed Dean a box of rice and asked, "what happened, were you robbed?"

"Yeah," Dean said with a straight face.
