Chapter 31. Honeymoon

"Where are you going?" Aryan whispered when he realized Laura was moving, trying to release herself from his embrace.

"It's already morning, Honey. I want to help Mom in the kitchen," Laura replied while still trying to break free from Aryan's increasingly tight hug.

"Ana's already there. Just stay here with me." Laura shifted her position, now facing Aryan, and she gently caressed Aryan's rough jawline with a teasing smile.

"Stop it! Don't try to seduce me, dear," Aryan murmured as he brushed away Laura's playful fingers on his face. He kissed each of Laura's fingertips one by one while closing his eyes.

Laura laughed when her efforts quickly paid off. She jumped out of bed and rushed into the bathroom.

"Watch out, I'll get you later," Aryan warned with a smirk after the bathroom door closed.
