Chapter 40. Wedding Anniversary

For the past two days, Nadine had noticed something different about Brian. He was quieter and spent more time on his phone when they were together, as if he had his own world. The loving gaze in Brian's eyes seemed to have changed, and he appeared to be avoiding eye contact with her.
