Chapter 26

Morning greeted me with sunlight slowly filtering in through the window curtains in my study. I fell asleep for a moment, opened my eyes slowly, and felt my body still feeling tired from Mr. Hyung’s great game last night. Even though this morning should be time to rest, work responsibilities await.

“Ah, my body is very tired. “Like I just ran a marathon,” I said as I stretched tiredly on the bench.

Not long after, my cell phone rang. It was a call from the furniture department. I immediately picked up my cell phone and connected it.

“Hello, good morning,” I said kindly.

“Good morning, Miss. This morning, I was asked by Mr. Hyung to deliver a bed to this office, correct?” the furniture officer asked in confusion.

“Oh yes, that’s right, please take it straight to Mr. Hyung’s office. “He will give you guidance on where you should put the new bed,” I explained.

“Yes, Miss. Thank you. I hope your work is enjoyable,”
