Chapter 15

As we get to university, Georgina is waiting, clothes in hand. I now realise I don’t exactly want to get out of the car in this dress. Everyone is walking by, sitting on the steps. I can just imagine their gawping faces as I get out. Georgina opens the door, but I shake my head. Grabbing the clothes, I tell Jackson to drive around the corner. At least there, no one is likely to see me if I am naked. It is hard, but I manage to get changed in the front seat with minimal space, then tell Jackson to drive me back around. He stops outside the university, leaning forward, kissing me.

“You will do great. Don’t worry.” His hand reaches over me to open the door. Stepping out, I meet Georgina. My nerves are now kicking in. I feel nauseous and want to get back in the car and drive away.

“I didn’t think you would be doing the exams.” Georgina’s arm folds over mine and pulls me up the steps.
