Chapter 5. Other Business

I follow, walking in together, he is greeted by the staff who clearly know who he is. They don’t linger though. They quickly return to their jobs, not wanting to interrupt him. The shop is full. I follow him around while looking at everything. We walk into a corridor with several doors leading off it.

“These are rooms set up, not to be used, but for inspiration and ideas. Customers can come in and look and see what they think. They can test anything in these rooms.” I turn, looking at him in shock. He can’t be serious, right? His chuckle at my reaction worries me.

“Not in that way. Nothing is in packaging, so they can turn things on, test the speed, strength and stuff on the backs of their hands, on their noses, arms etc. Not anywhere sexual.
