Chapter 31

The explosion sound had the hybrid sisters on alert, but the other lunas did not even flinch.

‘I’m okay!’ a little girl yelled from the hallway. Two sets of footsteps ran the little girl yelled she was okay.

‘That was totally awesome! Let’s go show mum!’ a voice that was obviously male said with barely concealed excitement.

‘My kids are wired differently from other nature witches, I blame it all on the wolf genes’ Kylie said with a wide guilty smile. The other lunas laughed as the little girl came in with a helmet that would swear it had seen better days and some other protective wears on her elbow and knees. Whatever had exploded outside the door was apparently left there.

‘Mum, did you hear? I was able to make some fuel for my skateboard! But it got too hot, and it blew! That means when I take it out tonight, it would really, really go!’ the little girl said with so much excitement to her mother and climbed onto Kylie’s knees, soot and all.
