“Tell me about your kind,” Selena suddenly said to Liam.

Liam relaxed at her words. Where did he start from? Maybe he would just give her the basic story of their creation. With too many versions, he chose the one he liked best.

“Well, we have one too many stories about our origin. But I’ll tell you my favorite folklore. Try not to interrupt; the protagonist is not a very wise girl, but it all worked out in the end,” Liam said and leveled her a look that made her smile.
