Chapter 32. Lonely
As she lay awake, Mia's thoughts were jumbled. She’d been dreaming of hands touching her, lips on hers, but she wasn’t sure who it was. In the dark fog of her unconscious state, it was impossible to tell.
Sometimes, the kisses were sweet and slow, and she thought it must be Beau, but then, the man in the darkness commanded her, taking her roughly, and she thought it must be Sam. In some, sick twisted perversion of her own mind, had she managed to merge them both into the same man?
With a loud sigh, she rolled over, grabbing a pillow and punching it into submission before dropping her face into it.
