My hand was still on my chest but there was nothing happening. I started to count down from five to one, and if nothing still was going to happen then I was just going to let go and let Chad and Katara do whatever they wanted to do to me.
“Five…four…three…two…” Before I could even say one, my hand started to glow. It was not the usual bright light but there was light regardless. It was a dull and warm glow. “Yes,” I chuckled the word out.
Hope filled my mind and I felt a bit better immediately. The glow continued to get brighter but at a very slow rate. I was happy and hopeful nevertheless.
