Chapter 101

Bela, the family's loyal maid, sat on the sofa near the bed, watching Celine with an attentive gaze.  

"Mrs. Celine... Do you need anything?" Bela asked softly.  

Celine shook her head with a smile. "I'm fine, Bela. Thank you for accompanying me."  

Bela nodded, then suddenly Celine's cell phone vibrated. Upon seeing Nico's name on the screen, Celine's eyes lit up. She immediately picked it up.  

"Honey... Where are you still?" Celine's voice sounded spoiled.  

On the other side, Nico let out a long sigh. "I'm still out of town. But I'll try to get home sooner. Are you okay? Any complaints?"  

Celine bit her lip, her eyes slightly glazed over. "I miss you..."  

Nico chuckled. "Me too, sweetheart. Patience, yes. I'll treat you when I get home."  

Celine snorted softly. "I don't need to be pampered, I just need you to be here."
