"How is Calvin, Doc?" asked Celine in a hopeful and anxious tone.

The doctor sighed, looking at Celine sympathetically. "Calvin is in a coma. We've done our best, but he needs close supervision. We will continue to monitor his progress."

Celine staggered, almost losing her balance. Nicolas spontaneously held her body, providing support. "I'm here, Celine. I'll keep you company," he said softly.

Celine brushed Nicolas' hand away, trying to stay strong despite her broken heart. "I don't need you here, Nico. I can deal with this on my own."
