"Alright," Nico said, voice heavy and full of frustration. "I'll take care of getting you out, but after that... it's over. You'll never interfere with my life again."

Ruby smiled in satisfaction, though there was still a hint of pain in her eyes. "That's exactly what I want. But remember, Nico, I'll still be here. So be careful. I know a lot of things that could ruin your life, and you know it."

Nico felt cold sweat on his forehead. "I've had enough of your games, Ruby. This is our last walk."

Ruby just chuckled, as if knowing that she still had control. "We'll see about that, Nico. I'll be waiting out here, and I'll make sure your life will never be the same again."
