Chapter 93

"Hold on, Calvin!" shouted Nico, trying to calm down while standing up from the bed. His eyes went to Celine, who looked anxious. "I'll open the door, baby," Nico said softly, before moving to the door.

Nico opened the door quickly, showing a face as if nothing had happened. Outside, Calvin stood with his eyes sparkling with curiosity.

"Mommy and Daddy, why are you in the room? Are you sick?" Calvin asked innocently, his eyes glancing at the room which seemed to be a little messy. 

Nico quickly thought. He had to come up with a reasonable explanation. "Yes, Mommy is sick, Calvin," Nico replied with a gentle smile. "So Daddy and Mommy need to rest for a while."  

Celine, who was still on the bed, sat up straight and tried to smile even though she was a little clumsy. "Yes, dear. Mommy's not feeling well," she replied softly, trying to reassure Calvin. "You don't have to worry, really."
