"I want a 40% stake in this project," Mr. Gerald said in a firm tone.  

Leo and Nico looked at each other. They had expected this possibility, but 40% was quite a big number.  

Nico thought for a moment, then said, "Mr. Gerald, 40% is quite high. But I appreciate your support. How about 30%? We want to keep control of the project."  

Mr. Gerald squinted, then smiled faintly. "35%. That's my final offer."
