My footsteps, along with Dylan's, echoed through the halls, my fingers intertwined with his. Yes, I'm happy, and I want to make the most of this moment... Soon everything would change.

I entered the meeting room without even knocking. I saw Marcus, Lestat, Kendrick and Kaiden already in place, sitting down, they were talking, probably discussing the plans to defend the places.
