I just gave myself to the moment, to what Kaiden wanted, to what I needed from him and knowing that even if it hurt him, he would stop me... I'm an idiot, right? I shouldn't put such a burden on someone I love, someone who loves me unconditionally and purely.

My bond with Kaiden only grows, since the days when he took care of me, bringing me to reality, and helping me get over Melvin's death. He never asked for more than I could offer, he never demanded something more from me... When he came for training, I knew I hadn't lost him, that he was still going to be with me.
