Harry’s POV

“Harry, why did you decide to go to law school?” Autumn suddenly asked from behind as we stood back to back while cooking. She was using our main stove, and I was the one using the induction cooker.

I replied, recalling our old dream, which was actually the reason why I am pursuing law school now.

“I made a promise back then that we would study Law together. Too bad she’s not here anymore…” I answered her question.

“Selene?” I turned to face her, and she did the same to me.

“Yes…”

“You do love Selene so much, right? She’s so lucky.”

Autumn smiled, and I noticed tears welling up in her eyes. Seeing that they were about to fall, I was ready to wipe them away, but she suddenly turned around and said, “I’ll just get the vinegar.”

After we finished cooking, we sat in the living room and waited for Hannah to arrive.

“Do you want to watch a movie?” I asked her. We were sitting next to each other, both lookin
