Evelyn Holder’s POV

My phone rang and it’s Mario. Alex looked at my phone and he sighed and turned to his laptop again. I picked it up.

“Hello.” I said.

“Hello, beautiful, don’t forget about tonight okay?” He said.

“Yes.”

“Why so formal?” He asked.

“You’re older.” I told him.

“It’s fine.” He chuckled.

Alex turned to me and his expression changed, I raised my eyebrows to him. I looked at me with an unreadable expression. He took my phone and I just froze like a statue. He took my phone and ended the call.

“Wh-why?”

“Can you not hang out with him?”

“I have a date tonight with him.”
