Indianna was in her room with Tai and Brooke when she heard them return. She jumped up as quickly as she could and rushed down the stairs.

“Get Doc!” Kal yelled as he crashed through the front door with Ellie in his arms.

“Doc’s with Ellie’s parents. He left after he checked me over,” Indianna gasped. “He’s not here!”

“We need him here, now!” Kal yelled. “Rogue stabbed her, and I can barely feel a pulse.”

“She won’t be alive if you wait for someone to get here,” Tai said from the top of the stairs. Brooke had rushed down to Harry, who had grabbed her and held her protectively.

“Why are you still here?” Kimberly asked boredly.

“I can help.”

Indianna looked up at Tai. “You can?”

“How?” Ace called, watching Tai with a kind smile.

“My whole life I’ve wanted to be a doctor,” Tai said. “I’ve got more hands-on experience than I’d like to admit. I can save her.”
