Chapter 11. Strangulated

Jae didn't know how long he'd been chatting with the man. However, Jae's attention was diverted when a call came to his cellphone, making him stand up with a pale face.

"Jae, is something wrong?" asked the man, who was amazed when he saw Jae who suddenly stood in the middle of their conversation. 

"I-I was late for the last class. I'm sorry, but I have to go!" 

"He—hey, Jae!"

Jae didn't even listen to the man's call and immediately ran to leave the librarian's room, going to the man still in the room, ignoring him trying to call Jae to come back because he saw some of Jae's books accidentally dropped when Jae pulled his bag before leaving. The man just shook his head when he knew he couldn't catch up with Jae. 

"I'll return these books later with the clothes after laundry ...." said the man while picking up Jae's fallen books.
