Chapter 41. It’s a Goodbye

I ground my hips harder, feeling the thick ridge of him through his jeans, hot and straining against my leggings.
He hissed, hands tightening on my waist, fingers digging into the soft flesh above my hips, but he didn’t push me off.
He pulled me closer, like he wanted to fuse us together, his groan vibrating against my mouth.
I kissed him deeper, messier, tongue plunging, claiming every inch of him I could. My nails raked down his jaw, scratching red lines, and I felt him shudder under me, hips bucking up, chasing the pressure.
I was in control, straddling him, pinning him to my bed, and I loved it, the power, the heat, the way his eyes burned when I pulled back just enough to look at him.
His face was flushed, lips swollen, that scar above his eyebrow stark against his skin. He looked wrecked, and I’d barely started.
“You don’t get to talk,” I growled, voice low, raw from screaming and kissing. “You don’t get to say you love me.”
