Chapter 171. People Change

Chloe was pacing back and forth outside Ricardo's office. He came back so soon, and he didn't even let anyone inside. Dennis and Dario were afraid to go to their boss.

“What exactly happened, huh?” Chloe asked in a hushed tone. Her sharp eyes landed on Dennis, he averted his eyes. The two men were hesitant to speak.

“It's nothing…” Dario muttered and nodded at Dennis, so they could get to work.

“There's a meeting going on there…why are you here?” Dennis remarked, Chloe glared at him and continued pacing.

“If dummies like you can't even fix a tiny problem… I don't even know why he hired you,” Chloe said disdainfully, Dennis had had enough of Chloe's bickering that he stormed away from there and Dario followed him. Chloe was agitated, if Ricardo came back alone it meant. He was still angry at Alana.
