Chapter 87. Bite Marks

Alana was happy when she woke up and found herself cradled in Ricardo's arms. She moved a little until she was half lying on top of him.

“Good morning,” she muttered while rubbing her eyes a little. To her surprise, Ricardo didn't answer. He was just staring at the ceiling as if lost in thoughts.

“Ricardo,” she called out to him, softly jerking him back to his senses.

“You are awake?” He asked with a smile and adjusted to a more comfortable position. Alana smiled faintly, wondering what was happening to him. He seemed so lost. Even the previous night he was making love to her, he was acting as if it were the last time they were doing it.

“Are you okay?” She asked, reaching for his face. It was good to have him back, Alana caressed him gently while combing his beard with her fingertips.
