Chapter 49. Secretary Ken

This time, as the attack happened at the Wade Mansion, there were more stockholders of the Wade group wanting to pull out from the company.

 Damien stayed quiet as the board of directors spoke angrily within themselves. He saw their talks as mindless rants but he didn’t let them know, keeping his plastered fake smile.

 He was doing his all not to smack them with the tea cup before him. His secretary glanced at him and sighed seeing his clenched fists.

 “Make them stop, Sir.” The young man whispered.

 Damien turned to him with a wider smile. “I’m rather enjoying it. The display of their foolishness. I’m ecstatic.”

 The secretary couldn’t tell if he was joking.

 “I’m saying that if the stocks go down again, I’m withdrawing from here. Whether or not the stocks rise again. I won’t fall with them!” a board director yelled, then slammed the table.

 Damien’s smile fell. The secretary looked horrified.
