Briar’s POV

Kylan decided to take the kids out. I had nagged and nagged that he should keep them safe. He said, "Come on, do you doubt me?"

The kids also kept asking him about the fire he’d created. I myself was curious, but I remembered Kai saying something about their powers, though my head wasn’t in the right place.
