The whistle was blown and the match started with Keith's team playing the balls to themselves, I could easily recognize his team because of the different outfits they were putting on and Billy's men lurched forward and began marking Keith's team.
I sat under the sun in the bleachers as I watched the match, each team played well but I couldn't even stop myself from staring at Keith or wishing for him to win.
I shouldn't be doing this especially when Billy was a friend of mine.
"Whoa!" I exclaimed after Billy kicked the ball to the net but the goalkeeper was lucky to have caught it.
He glanced at my direction with a smile which I returned. "Best of luck," I say and he did a thumbs up to me before running back to his position.
I looked around the field in search of Keith, then I saw him in one side of the field gazing at me.
