Third-Person POV

“Chris. Your phone is ringing.” Clarke said when he was busy checking a patient. But he didn’t listen as the door separated them.

She chose to ignore but then she took a peek at the number. It showed an unknown number. So she ignored and waited for him to come outside.

Soon his phone beeped again showing message notification. She then took the phone and opened the video sent by his friend.

For a second she regretted touching his phone but then she also understood his needs. He is busy every day and could spend less time with her.

“Check it out after two days and let me know the result.” Chris came out instructing the nurse. He smiled at Clarke who was waiting for him.

“You smell so good darling.” He hugged her once the nurse went out.
