Third-Person POV

Among the crowd were Chris and Clarke, who came to attend the wedding. He didn’t leave her hand all the time from the time they entered the venue.

“Why are you so clingy today?” Clarke asked. She looked at his unbothered face and sighed. Recently he has been following her everywhere and helping her with all the work. She was worried he would get tired but he insisted on helping her.

“You are looking pretty.” he said leaning towards her ear.

She felt happy inside but on the outside she acted as if she didn’t care and pulled her hand away.

“You should go back to the lab and continue your work.” When people around were murmuring and Clarke understood that the wedding was not going to happen, she pushed him away.

He caught her hand and pulled her outside when everyone was busy gossiping.

“Wait, where are you taking me?” she asked in a hush tone. She looked back if anyone saw them.
